Today would have been my mother’s 66th birthday. She has been gone from this earth now for almost 12 years. That seems so strange to say. It seem like just yesterday we were talking on the phone, as a matter of fact it was just a couple of weeks ago that I found myself reaching for the phone to call and tell you about something that just happened only to remember once again that you were no longer here. You would think after all this time I would be past that.
Happy birthday mom. I still feel your presence. I still love the you that lives in me and my children. I love you. Thank you for mothering me.
