Day 91 - Black History Month?

So it’s Black History Month. Which is funny because I’m Black all year round. Most Black people I know are also Black all year. Some try to forget but this world is quick to remind us. So, the idea of a Black History Month is kinda confusing.

I could understand it more if there wasn’t a thing as Black history to know but we have history too. I have ancestors and people who have gone before me. Do you know them?

I’m not so clueless to think that we don’t need a Black History month just still confused by why we need it. Shouldn’t we all be?

Maybe we should all celebrate Black History Month every month in protest. Then it might even get to the place where there won't be a need for Black History Month at all. Or if there is maybe we won't be able to tell the difference. Maybe...
