Dear Esteemed Wisdom Keepers,
It is with great honor and reverence that we at Nzuzu extend to you this heartfelt invitation to join us at Hope Springs Institute from June 19-23, 2024, for a gathering of 13 wisdom keepers from various corners of the world. This event is a calling for individuals who embody deep listening and carry the flame of wisdom within their hearts.
As we come together in this sacred space, we acknowledge and express gratitude for the unique essence that each of you brings to our collective tapestry of Spirit, Indigenous Wisdom, and Sacred support. Through ceremonies, storytelling, and communal solidarity, we aim to weave a fabric of healing, strength, and tranquility that will resonate not only within us but also ripple out to touch the wider world.
Your presence as a Wisdom Keeper is a beacon of light in these times, and we humbly request your participation in co-creating a harmonious and transformative experience that will leave a lasting imprint on the fabric of existence. May our coming together be a testament to the power of unity, wisdom, and love.
We will gather with each other Wednesday through Friday, making connections and sharing our wisdom with each other. During this time we will also take a trip to Serpent Mound together. The Serpent Mound is a 1,348-feet-long, three-feet-high prehistoric effigy mound located in Peebles, Ohio. It was built on what is known as the Serpent Mound crater plateau, running along the Ohio Brush Creek in Adams County, Ohio. The mound is the largest serpent effigy known in the world.
On Saturday, we will invite in the larger community to participate in a rededication of the Peace Pole at Hope Springs and various offerings from the Wisdom Keepers who are present.
This is our inaugural year. Because of this we don’t have funding to offer this year and we will be charging the larger community to come and participate on Saturday. As a wisdom council we will decide how to best use this money. Using what we call a Circle of Generosity.
