Tenneson, in the spirit of celebration inspired our latest Fire and Water podcast, titled Tenneson asks Quanita about her book The InnerGround Railroad.
It was fun to be in this conversation with him. It was different than our other podcasts because he was interviewing me, so I was in the spotlight, instead of us both engaging in back in forth conversation. It was also different then being on someone else’s podcast because Tenneson is the most skilled person that I know in asking deep, meaningful questions and because he knows me so well he could get different answers from me than another interviewer. We didn’t talk about the questions before hand, so I was surprised by some of the questions he asked and by some of my own answers.
