Remembering Who I am

This human journey can make you forget who you are. One of the jobs of community is to remind you of the truth of who you are. My community has reminded me that I come from women who had such humanity they nursed babies (that they could have killed) that they knew would grow up to rape their daughters and kill their sons. They were and I am more than enough.
