Two Roads to the Same Place

As I was flying into Phoenix this morning I was thinking about Tenneson coming in tomorrow and how often as human we take two different roads to get to the same place.

I’m flying in from Cincinnati and he will be coming in from Salt Lake City. I traveling a further distance, I leaving a day earlier, but tomorrow we will both end up in the same place. I have told Tenneson that we think a lot alike in very different ways. This journey, this wondering is reminding me of that.

If I move it into our work or into connecting with the universal I could talk about diverse points of views, or conflict resolution, or even surprising insights that surface in group discussions. I think all these journeys can require us to be more patient and kind with ourselves and with each other.
