Day 9: Living in the FLOW GAME

Over the past two days I have had the pleasure of hosting two Flow Games. This is a game that was created in the mid 90’s by 8 friends. It is designed to support individual & collective consciousness.

The purpose of the Flow Game is to strengthen and bring flow to the life affirming leadership and actions of the participants. Its aim is to strengthen and bring focused flow into an important area or question in ones life; be it a project, a future direction your work or relationship or as part of your personal growth.

We use the Flow Game as a part of our Fire & Water 16 month Leadership/Rite of Passage Journey for adults. We find it a wonderful tool to support our small groups in leaning into one another with the intention of tapping into the collective wisdom of the group.

This weekend two small groups met. One met on Saturday online for 4 hours and the other on Sunday online for 4 hours.

Each one of the participants entered the game with a question. Here are the questions that we got to dive deeper into together:

  • How do I stand fully in my power and truth and allow others to do the same without an attachment to an outcome?

  • How do I tap into the awareness needed for this part of my journey?

  • What may be standing in the way of my evolution? What does it cost to step into my evolution?

  • What is the support that’s needed now to live in what’s important to me? What needs to be asked for?

  • What would it look and feel like if I were able to fully embody Spirit into my leadership and presence in the world?

  • What do I need to believe to risk living a life of my heart’s wildest desires?

  • Who am I when I integrate all of me and how does that change what I offer to the world?

  • How can I embrace the gifts and privileges that come with leading an aligned and beautiful life?

  • How do I surrender control and step into real co creation with God for more than I have ever dreamed of?

  • Where am I called to trust myself to live a life of calm, passionate, joyful, and loving presence?

  • What does it mean to nurture the growth and evolution of the spirit of a scholar in holding and being held by self and community?

One of the things that I love about community is that when things, ideas, questions show up they are never just for one person. There is a piece of each of these delicious questions that has gold for me. I will sit with each one of them and let them cook me in all kinds of beautiful ways. I am so grateful for each one of the participants, for their vulneraious (vulnerability + courageous) spirits, and for time on a Saturday & Sunday to swim in the Flow of the deep waters.

If you are interested in learning more about the Flow Game and how you can offer this to your community, your work, and/or you family just send me a message.
